General Information

The information on this page tells the story of the ill-fated attempt to cycle from Land's End to John O'Groats in June 2010. Jamie had purchased a new tandem (a particularly large tandem) so his friend and work colleague, Ronnie Young (who is 6'7") could be his pilot on this attempt. Another friend from work, Andy Swann had agreed to drive the support vehicle. To complete the team, Heather Barbara had volunteered to come along as a general roustabout and good egg!

In addition to cycling the distance, the team were aiming to raise money for St Dunstan's, a charity which supports blinded ex-service men and women.

The Story of the Trip
