Having spent 2 days driving through rough terrain, thunder storms and floods to get from Ulaan Bataar to Dalanzadgad, the Sandbaggers and their Mongolian support team line up for a photo under the archway at the entrance to the town of Dalanzadgad. From this point on the Sandbaggers were to be on foot.

The Sandbaggers are: Nick Dillon, David Scott, William Hunt, John MacKenzie, Jim Scott (photographer) and Jamie Cuthbertson. The support team consisted of drivers Tsogor and Tume along with Maggie and Chuka from Ulaan Bataar.
