During his rehabilitation after his accident, Jamie had to learn a number of new skills. Braille is one of these skills and at least a basic knowledge has proved to be extremely useful over the years. Jamie is being taught by Phil Duffee who was the main braille tutor at St Dunstans in 1987 when this picture was taken.
