One of Jamie's main loves is running and this has been a very important element of his spare time since losing his sight. In 1992 Jamie joined Red Star Athletics Club in Glasgow and competed in many events as a member of the club. Dawn Stein who is shown here training with Jamie was one of the club coaches at that time.
