The training offered at St Dunstans was second to none. In addition to basic 'blind man skills' such as braille, mobility and daily living skills, Jamie was also introduced to the concept of computing. In 1987 synthetic speech was very basic but still of huge value to those who could master the technology. Jamie is photographed here with Phil Duffee who was one of the early enthusiasts at St Dunstans.
